Soft Scarlet: ZY + J

J knew what she wanted from the start and went for it - a solemnisation at the iconic Raffles Hotel lawn, dinner in the colonial ballroom, with floral hedges and Pei Li's tall paper flowers to accentuate each aisle.

While the weather that day had other plans - a downpour turned into a light drizzle - the sun was out by vow exchange and their signing overlooked the grassy lawn.

 

J favoured a very classic colour scheme with reds and whites, plus a small hint of blush-peach to bring out the paper flower colours. Hydrangeas and orchids are her favourite, so worked some into the hedges even though phalaenopsis typically cascade.

 

Elevated her look with David Austin Tess garden roses and white O'haras. Classic flower choices never need to be boring - these hedges are meant to draw you in, and constantly find something new.  A little tweaking by Medkarlek Inc, because styling is so important.
