When LQ told me that her dad would be doing her makeup, I could not have imagined the story behind it: her father raised their family as a full-time MUA and bridal studio tailor before the Instagram generation began seeping into the wedding industry.
Mr Sia of SIA LC sketches cheongsams and mermaid gowns with a fluidity I can only dream of. LQ and her sister manage his Instagram account on top of their very demanding day jobs in the hopes of not letting his skills die out.
He's now famous as a tailoring whiz for all you Taobao or sample sale brides, but please consider getting a made-to-measure piece- his attention to detail is insane!
